We restore degraded forests through indigenous tree planting, assisted natural regeneration and community-led conservation to safeguard biodiversity, water resources and ecosystem services.
Sustainable livelihoods
Mt. Elgon-ICLIP supports environmentally sustainable enterprises that improve household incomes while reducing pressure on natural resources, inclusive of community tree nurseries, agroforestry and bee keeping.

Mt. Elgon-ICLIP aims at securing water quantity and quality at the mountain source while guaranteeing that local communities have safe, equitable access to this vital resource.
